Warranty:

At Alloy Custom Jewelers, we take pride in crafting jewelry with meticulous care using only the finest materials. Every piece undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure it is free from defects. To provide you with peace of mind, we offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Manufacturing Defects:

If you suspect a manufacturing defect, please bring your piece to our Cedar Falls studio or return it via insured mail. Our team will inspect and rectify any issues. We offer complimentary stone tightening for bezel, prong, and channel-set stones throughout the life of the piece. For daily wear items, we recommend inspections every six months, while earrings and pendants, which experience less wear, can be inspected less frequently.

Limitations:

Please note that our warranty does not cover stone breakage, damage, or loss. We strongly advise obtaining jewelry insurance through providers like Jewelers Mutual or your homeowners insurance to ensure your treasured pieces are protected.

Inspection and Refinishing:

When sending items for inspection or refinishing, please contact us in advance. Ensure the package discreetly conceals its contents, and all returns require prior authorization. The shipper is responsible for insuring packages sent to us. Please include proof of purchase in any return package.

Metals:

We exclusively use high-quality alloys of 14k and 18k gold, platinum, and occasionally sterling silver and palladium for our pieces. If you have a nickel allergy, we recommend platinum or our premium nickel-free white gold/palladium alloy.

Surface Finishes:

Expect the original surface finishes to naturally wear to a dull shine over time. We offer complimentary cleaning, polishing, and refinishing services. A yearly "showroom" finish is available, but please note that each polish removes a small amount of metal.

Maintenance:

For gold jewelry, we recommend re-tipping prongs, bezels, or channel settings every 5-10 years. Platinum and palladium may need attention every 10-20 years. Alternative metals, such as stainless steel, tungsten carbide, or titanium, cannot be resized or soldered and are crafted from scratch to fit you.
