What you're buying
Made to order for you, so here is what goes into it and how we look after it.
Metals
14k gold is 58.5% pure gold. It's the most popular choice for rings worn every day: rich in colour and durable.
White gold: we use a bright white gold that is white all the way through, so it doesn't need rhodium plating to stay white.
Rose gold gets its warm colour from copper. It doesn't tarnish, and the colour can deepen slightly over the years.
Platinum is about 95% pure, naturally white and noticeably heavier than gold. With wear it develops a soft satin patina, which many people love; it can always be polished back to a shine.
Diamonds
Lab-grown and natural diamonds are both real diamonds: the same crystal, hardness and sparkle. Lab-grown diamonds are created in a lab; natural diamonds are mined. A lab-grown diamond costs much less for the same size and quality.
Colour and clarity. Each diamond choice on this page names its grades, for example colour F–H (near colourless) and clarity VS (very slightly included, with no inclusions visible to the eye).
Carat total weight (ctw) is the combined weight of all the diamonds in the piece, and is approximate. On bands made in each finger size, the number of diamonds, and so the ctw, changes slightly with the size.
Certificates. Small accent and band diamonds are not individually certified; that's standard across the industry. Larger centre diamonds come with a grading report, and we're happy to show it to you.
Sizing
Your ring is made in the finger size you choose, and its price follows the size: a larger size uses more metal.
Not sure of your size? Visit us and we'll measure you, or ask us for a ring sizer. Fingers change with temperature and time of day, so a professional sizing is best.
Most rings can be resized later within a size or two. Rings with stones set far around the band have limits, so ask us before ordering if you're unsure.
Made to order
This piece is made for you in the metal, stones and size you choose. The estimated completion date is shown above, and if you need it sooner, ask us: we can sometimes finish earlier.
Because it's made for you, it can't be returned once production begins. Want something changed: fewer stones, another width, a different setting? Use "Ask about a change" above and we'll quote it.
Prices follow the gold, platinum and diamond markets and can change over time. The price at checkout is the price you pay.
Warranty & care
Two-year craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong because of how we made your piece, such as a casting flaw, a finish problem or a stone loosened by a setting defect, we repair it free for two years from the day you receive it. Normal wear, accidents and damage aren't covered.
Free cleaning and checks, for life. Bring your piece in anytime for a free clean, polish and prong check. We suggest every six months.
Lost accent diamonds replaced free. If a small side or band diamond falls out of its setting, we replace it free as long as your piece has been in for its regular checks. Centre stones aren't covered, so we recommend insuring your piece.
Also included: your first resize free (within a size or two; eternity bands excepted), a free re-polish, and an appraisal for your insurance.
Day to day: take your jewelry off for heavy work, the gym and the pool, store pieces apart so they don't scratch each other, and clean them with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
