We repair jewelry in our Cedar Falls studio: ring sizing, prongs and settings, chains and clasps, polishing and more. Bring it in Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, or call or text 319-290-6116.

Ring SizingRings sized up or down in gold, platinum and silver.
Prongs & RetippingWorn prongs retipped or rebuilt to keep your stones secure.
Stone Tightening & ReplacementLoose stones tightened, and new settings or stones when one is damaged or missing.
Chains & ClaspsBroken chains soldered, clasps replaced, and pearls and beads restrung.
Cleaning & ChecksA free clean and check during studio hours, plus polishing and rhodium plating.

Drop-Off

What to Bring and What Happens Next

Bring It InBring the piece, plus any stone or part that came off, in a small bag. Sizing a ring? We'll measure your finger at the counter.
We Look It OverA jeweler checks the piece with you, explains what it needs and gives you a price. We photograph it and write up your repair ticket.
We Repair It HereThe work is done at our own bench in Cedar Falls. You'll get a ready date when you drop it off.
Pick It UpWe'll let you know when it's ready. Pick it up any time during studio hours, Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm.

Repair Questions

How long will my repair take?

It depends on the repair and the metal. We'll give you a ready date when you drop it off, and express service is available for some repairs.

How much will it cost?

Pricing at the counter. Every piece is different, so we look at it with you first and give you a price before any work begins.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Drop-offs are welcome Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. Booking a drop-off time means a jeweler is ready for you when you arrive.

Is my repair covered by a warranty?

If we made your piece, the repair may be covered by our warranty. Bring it in and we'll check.

What is a clean and check?

We clean your jewelry and check the prongs and settings, so small problems are caught before a stone is lost. It's free.

Clients often bring heirloom stones or existing gold. These can absolutely be incorporated.

The value of a custom piece lies in the design, refinement, structural integrity and craftsmanship required to create something balanced and lasting. Materials are only one part of the equation.

How a Redesign Works

Conversation and DirectionBring the piece. We look at the stones and metal with you and talk about how you want to wear it.
Design DevelopmentWe create detailed renderings and 3D-printed prototypes in-house so you can see and feel the design before it is made.
Transparent PricingPricing is discussed openly as the design evolves. Everything is reviewed and approved before production begins.
Made HereCast, set and finished in our Cedar Falls studio, with every stone set by hand.
